Alejandro Cabrera

Bio: Ale is passionate about Gran Canaria, its volcanic scenery and the outdoor possibilities. Kitesurfing, mountain biking and flying his drones are some of his hobbies. Ale is currently landing in Gran Canaria an working on his own project around some of his interests: the challenges of developing modern sales strategies, building top performing teams and change management.

He started his career at a german start up in Berlin but couldn’t resist the temptation to join Cisco Systems as part of their sales academy in Amsterdam. At Cisco he was given a hot desk from day one and remote working is still the norm. As Webex was acquired by Cisco he realised of the importance of Cloud and SaaS models and decided to join Google in Madrid to kick start the sales of Google Apps in the spanish mid market, managing a remote team that was based in Dublin. Afterwards he moved to Dublin with his wife and two kids to pursue a european role. He then decided to take an executive position at Microsoft Spain to lead the sales of collaboration, mobility and cybersecurity solutions managing a large team of engineering consultants working constantly “on the go”.

Ale is a pioneer in the sales of cloud technologies with a solid understanding of how digital transformation impacts organisations, specially on the side of creating digital workplaces.
