Work from Gran Canaria

We work from places we enjoy

Picture an island that basks in a permanent bubble of warm sunny weather. Then let’s throw in high standard healthcare and education, safety and connectivity. Then consider the low living costs and a Quality of Life score in the top five per cent worldwide.

It’s the haven to realise your perfect work-life balance. With great transport options, it’s easy to get around and be creatively inspired by the magnificence Gran Canaria has to offer. There are many great nomad-friendly coffee shops and coworking spaces to work from and you’re never far from a fast internet connection.

It’s no wonder we love to work from Gran Canaria and you won’t be surprised to find out that it’s one of Europe’s top digital nomad and remote worker locations. We’re sure you’ll love it too.

The Coworking Scene

The Gran Canaria coworking scene has exploded over the past seven years and you have a wide range of options in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Most private coworking spaces charge around 150 euros per month and you can expect fast internet access and coffee to be included in the price.

Other perks vary from space to space and can include free printing, phone calls, etc.

The SPEGC offers coworking spaces and facilities to start-ups (entrepreneurs) with technology and/or innovation projects at the University Campus in Tafira (just outside Las Palmas de Gran Canaria city), and at the INFECAR Canary Islands Exhibition Centre within the city.

Nomad and Remote worker community in Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria has become one of Europe’s top digital nomad and remote worker locations, with a thriving community of like minded individuals.

There are several forums to find and connect with other nomads and expats in Gran Canaria, Facebook Groups being a very prominent resource, but also we have created a 'Mighty Network' platform for Nomad City as a place to share ideas, insights, tips, events, and find new friends.

Please see a list of currently active Facebook groups below, and a link to the Nomad City Mighty Network.
